Beaches in Costa Smeralda

Grand Hotel Poltu Quatu allows its guests the possibility to reach the most beautiful beaches in Costa Smeralda: Grande Pevero, Liscia Ruja, Spiaggia del Principe, Capriccioli, Cala Battistoni, La Maddalena Archipelago.

There is a free shuttle service to three local beaches. 

Grande Pevero

The suggestive Grande Pevero beach has white sand and is surrounded by Mediterranean maquis with clear waters, it is also ideal for families and children. A beach kiosk is open daily right at the entrance of the beach. It serves delicious cold dishes, sandwiches, ice creams and fresh fruit.

Liscia Ruja

Well known as “the long beach” due to the fact that it is the widest one on the Coast. This beach is also well known for the particular natural features: a series of small bays divided by small patches of sands, full of lilies and centuries old junipers.

Spiaggia del Principe

Two wings of white sand divided by a pink rock promontory, overlooking onto crystalline waters.

Spiaggia Capriccioli

Two white and fine sand shores reflected in the intense blue water of the sea, with granite pink rocks to complete this paradisiacal view.

Cala Battistoni

Located right in front of the little village of Baia Sardinia overlooking onto the blue-green waters of the Emerald Coast.

Archipelago of La Maddalena

The Archipelago of La Maddalena is one of the most beautiful paradise spots in the Mediterranean sea with 7 major islands and some smaller ones.
A must see for whoever is spending a holiday in Costa Smeralda.
The Archipelago can be reached by motor boat or special sailing boat within 30 minutes from Poltu Quatu Marina.
