The Marina dell'Orso

In 1987, on the north-east coast of Sardinia, called Costa Smeralda, born Poltu Quatu Marina dell’Orso.

Situated in a strategic position, easily reachable from every corner of the Mediterranean sea it is the ideal location for those who want to navigate to La Maddalena archipelago.

Close to Poltu Quatu you can visit Caprera, La Maddalena, Santa Maria, Spargi, Budelli, Razzoli, Lavezzi, Cavallo and Corsica.

Poltu Quatu means hidden port for native people, it is the replica of an old sea village, with narrow streets and perched cottages.

Marina dell’Orso is a fjord also known on the nautical charts as the ‘Stintino dell’Orso’. It is located between Liscia di Vacca bay and Baja Sardinia, in front of Caprera island and Cappuccini Island. For the approach you may follow Capo Ferro Lighthouse, located 2 miles NE of the Marina entrance. .

Depth: up to 3m at the entrance until 2m at the inner docks.

The Harbour Office is located in the Main Dock “BR”, during summertime it is open every day from 8.30am to 8.30pm.
